Does Free use shared CFsend sending infrastructure?
Section titled “Does Free use shared CFsend sending infrastructure?”No. Free deploys the Worker, D1, R2 and Queues into your Cloudflare account. Your application calls that Runtime directly.
Does the Runtime stop if CFsend is unavailable?
Section titled “Does the Runtime stop if CFsend is unavailable?”No. A deployed Runtime keeps sending inside your Cloudflare account. CFsend is required only for control-plane actions such as deployment, managed upgrades and repair.
Which Cloudflare plan is required?
Section titled “Which Cloudflare plan is required?”Cloudflare currently requires Workers Paid to send to arbitrary recipients. Sending to verified destination addresses remains available for initial testing.
Can CFsend send marketing email?
Section titled “Can CFsend send marketing email?”Not currently. Cloudflare Email Service is intended for transactional email. CFsend Campaigns support consented lifecycle and service notifications, not promotional or unsolicited bulk mail.
Where is email data stored?
Section titled “Where is email data stored?”Messages, templates, logs and operational state stay in the D1, R2, Queues and related resources in your Cloudflare account. CFsend stores only account, organization, billing and deployment-control records.
What changes between Free, Pro and Business?
Section titled “What changes between Free, Pro and Business?”- Free: one account, one sending domain and one customer-owned Runtime.
- Pro: managed Runtime updates, verification, rollback and larger limits.
- Business: Campaigns, Audiences, Automations and fleet operations.
Members are unlimited on every plan. Cloudflare infrastructure and Email Service usage are billed separately by Cloudflare.
