Employees, inboxes and groups

Create one identity per person. An employee can own a personal inbox and receive access to multiple shared inboxes. Suspending an employee removes access without deleting retained mail.

Use shared inboxes for addresses such as support@, sales@ or billing@. Assign owners, members or read-only users instead of sharing one password.

Aliases route another company address to an inbox. Groups fan one address out to multiple members. External forwarding requires a verified destination. Catch-all routing should be enabled only after reviewing its spam and privacy impact.
